Episode Summary
Ken Kaneki continues following every lead connected to Dr. Akihiro Kanou, believing the mysterious doctor holds the key to understanding artificial half-ghouls. Although Kaneki remains affiliated with Aogiri Tree, he increasingly distances himself from the group’s objectives, choosing instead to act according to his own sense of justice.

Their investigation slowly uncovers evidence pointing toward Dr. Kanou’s hidden laboratory.
At Anteiku, Touka Kirishima struggles to balance her ordinary school life with the growing danger surrounding the café. She reflects on her memories with Kaneki and worries that he is losing himself while chasing the truth. Yoshimura remains calm, encouraging everyone to protect what they value while quietly preparing for the battles ahead.
Elsewhere, Aogiri Tree members continue carrying out operations across Tokyo. Their growing activity causes the CCG to accelerate its plans for a large-scale offensive. Kaneki senses that a decisive confrontation is approaching, but he refuses to abandon his search for answers.
