Episode Summary

Following the death of Kureo Mado, the residents of Anteiku attempt to return to their daily lives. Hinami continues recovering from the loss of her parents, while Kaneki becomes increasingly curious about his unusual transformation into a one-eyed ghoul.

Seeking answers, Kaneki visits a ghoul bar in the 14th Ward run by Itori, an old acquaintance of Uta and Renji Yomo. Itori explains that one-eyed ghouls are extremely rare and tells Kaneki about rumors surrounding other unusual ghouls. She also raises questions about the accident involving Rize Kamishiro, suggesting that there may be more to his transformation than he realizes.

Meanwhile, the CCG continues investigating dangerous ghoul activity across Tokyo. Amon struggles with Mado’s death and becomes even more determined to understand and fight the threats posed by ghouls.
